McGibbins ?

Should have got a point from the game. Unfortunatley we did not take our chance at the end but to put into perspective Angels missed 2 easy chances as we pushed for the equaliser with Dan Young playing centre forward.

Some of the refs decisions were ....(well he comes from Essex nuf said). However, Curtis did deserve to go for his foolish lunge (did anyone video it so that we can edit it and do a Welford).

McGibbin looked a useful right back with a couple of good crosses.

If we play on Tuesday (weather permitting) think Kieron will be doubtfull and maybe Kenny as well.

Mark McGibbon was definitely the ex Port Talbot right back, seems like he's another one who's been all over the place - Tooting, Arlesley, Dulwich, Bishop's Stortford, Barnet, Carshalton, couple of Welsh clubs, Leatherhead and spells in Denmark and Serbia. Might be more but I've only had a quick scout around.

Poor game overall: we were poor, Tonbridge were poor for a team so high up in the league. They didn't create much, but took one of their chances; we created even less and probably wouldn't have scored if we had played till midnight to be honest. But isn't that the story of our season? We more than matched them and deserved a point, I thought. Still desperately need a centre-forward.

On a more personal note, I was very disappointed the players didn't come over at the end of the game. Anyone who was there will pay testament to the fact that the choir were singing non-stop for 90 minutes yesterday, yet the players did not applaud or even recognise our contribution. Where's the incentive to get behind them again? Let's be honest: they weren't great yesterday, yet our support never dwindled. That is one thing that you have to commend the Ramsgate management team for: they always applaud their fans' contribution; sadly, ours doesn't.

I don't suppose we have any idea if McGibbons -and indeed Wild- have been signed to end of season/non contract/dual registration/turn up and see if you fancy a game ?

One assumes that he has'nt got himself a four year deal !
