16:50 - Margate nearly snatch a equaliser. Centre-half Danny Young puts a lovely ball into the six-yard box and all it needs is a touch. Peters then shoots wide as Margate finish the game strong. Angels need to get their foot on the ball.

We outplayed them for most of the first half and the second they may have shaded.

 

Excellent build up play resulted in several chances. Pratt, Healey and Peters should all have done better.

 

Tonbridge not much i'm afraid.

 

We actually looked pretty solid all game. Their goal a flick on which hit Cade and went in but other observers may have a dif. oppinion.

 

How we desperately need a forward cos' we matched them in all dep. apart from that.

 

30 or so gate fans. 3 never stopped singing which was good. Robo sent off for two footed tackle.

 

Unlucky NO you have to take your chances. Very little between the sides. We played the soccer once again but you have to finish.

Same old story from most other matches this season. We didn't expect much, but if only we didn't have those two suspensions today it could have been so different. I take it that it was a straight red again, so another unnecessary suspension that we really don't need at this time. At least most teams around us drew or lost

Tonbridge's fire power costs a pretty penny!

It's the same old story... Margate play some damn good football. I'd say we were even in the first half. 2nd half Angels upped the tempo. Young teams should be able to compete with that, but i think it took you by surprise.

We scored, you didn't. Both Pratt and Young should have taken thier chances. But, they did so well to make the chances.

On paper it should have been a lot worse. Big respect to Margate for the game.
