Royalists v afc Totton

Has the potential to be a cracking match if both teams play to their best. What do you think will be the deciding factors,it could be very tight like didcot but hopefully we will win through and have put the slough game to rest.Important to bounce back and not let tottons 5 point lead be extended,as long as we dont lose. Good time for the promotional offer too,and good time to bring friends down to watch.

So do we go all out for the win or be satisfied with a draw bearing in mind we have games in hand ?

I don't think a draw is an option, dropping points at this stage of the game isn't to be done not after we manged to drop 3 of them against Slough. We go for the win in my opinion... I reckon there are a few who will agree!

We can play cracking football we all know that... we can win big games we all know that(Chesham, Slough at home, Didcot home & away)... We can take all the points I'm sure we all know that!

We go for the win, pure and simple. We are the best team in the league when we play and this could put us in a very strong position. We want to and are capeable of winning the league, so we should play like it and go out to win every game. Away to Truro we should be looking to win that as well. This is our best chance in ages, and we should take it.

Go for the win, definitely. The players will all be up for it after last week, we've got masses of scoring ability so we just need to take some of the chances we make. And I don't believe we need to fear any team in this league, so why go out with a negative mind.

Meanwhile if Totton do play for a draw then assuming we've got a full squad that'll only be to our benefit. We're hard to catch on the counter, and we've so many people that can and will shoot and score that them holding people behind the ball is a gift to us. And of course if they do go behind and then have to push forward, that opens space for our speedsters to cut through...

I'd love to see us win but avoiding defeat is key.

Keep in mind we have one of our games in hand on Tuesday against Abingdon and then Totton travel to Truro next sat while we have a slightly easier game away at Bishops Cleeve.

Although I do agree with Gegg, teams that go out playing for a draw more often then not get beat.

Missing those two will be tough, but we have a pretty good squad. In Midfield you still have Jake, Joe, Willow and Wilson in there, with Ben also able to play on the wings. That is not a bad five to chose from and depending on who we are playing when Seeds is out we should still be able to dominate most teams with that midfield.

can u really go out and play for a draw? i dont think u can. as someone who played in a low/moderate sunday morning team, losing more than winning I still went out there week upon week with the aim of winning the game.

if we were still level after 89 minutes i then thought that taking the point was ok! having said that, when you think you've got the point(s) in the bag you take your eye off the ball and end up with naff all.

our players will try and win the game, as will theirs and i suspect all concerned will be satisfied with a point if it pans out that way.

mrs cat is correct though. a point wont be a disaster.

Dont get me wrong im not saying play for the draw but i think mrs cat has raised the most important point when she says avoiding defeat is the key and afc totton will know that, all im saying is we have got to be very careful and very tight at the back and be patient.

I will most definately happy with 1-0 win 90th min goal.

. Apart from Truro they have the best attacking record so i don't think they will be negative tomorrow. My brother in laws work colleague plays for Totten. They have five of their key big players injured or suspended. However they will apparantely be playing 3-5-2 against us and despite having lots of youngsters THEIR belief is that they fancy their chances big time after dominating us for 80 mins down there with a scratch team so they say but i was not there so don't know. Their top goal scorer is suspended and they have three star players out. A great chance for us but they are not where they are up there at the top with us for nothing. 2-2 draw

In response Wolfie, we are not where we are for no reason. Yes they dominated us for long periods of the match at their place but I believe we have been getting stronger with each match (Slough excluded) and I fancy our chances.

A cracing match and I would expect a very tight game, I am going for 2-1 Windsor.

3-5-2, depending on how you play it, could be quite negative, you could alsmost be playing five at the back if the wingbacks(?!?!) drop deep and packing the midfield can lead to a very congested and ugly game. Here's hoping both teams show exactly why it is 1st playing 2nd and we get a cracking match.

UTR!!

Absolutely, would say they are the best team we have played over two games and to get 4 points is a right result. The whole team worked well and Rob in goal was ultimately, imho, the differnce between the win and a draw. Not saying the team didn't play extremely well and deserve the win but he commanded his area and did everything right and was the rock to this fantastic performance.
