Hi Jurg, cheers for the big up! I am a central midfielder and keep telling the gaffer that, I can also do a job up top!! playing is what counts though.

 

Nice to have a little chat on the pitch after the big kerfuffle. Situations like that make me laugh now as no-one is really going to start anything serious, all handbags as usual and it's usually the little ones causing all the fuss. I guess you learn a little as you get older.

 

Shame about the error as I think it was a turning point, I definitely owe you a drink for it though wink

I have been in footbal too long to know how it can bite u in the [****!!****] if you get too full on. Also it was such a game that either side cud have won. I have, however, said that it was a nice reverse for the previous encounter this season but will amount to nothing if we don't bring home anything from Guildford on saturday ( weather permitting )

 

As for lording it...We will just stay quiet, sit in the wings and see what the season holds.

No worries. I like to think I give credit where it is due. I know what you mean and am glad I'm now back playing, even if the results aren't going for us.

 

Yeah, sorry I didn't have more of a chat after in the bar, but as you could imagine, I wasn't really feeling like it at the time! You certainly do learn a lot the older you get....I'm a wise old man now!

 

It was a big turning point and was the main reason I was so annoyed with myself as it knocked the wind out of us and gave your boys' a massive boost, as I felt you hadn't really caused us many probs up til then.

Though Bookham were a poor side but Jarman did well for you and will score goals at that level for fun.

No idea. May have to get it switched to a Sunday pitch to allow it go ahead. Cant rely on Dorkings sh1t hole of a pitch and we wont be on ours till mid April!!

 

P.S didnt take offence by the little ones quote. Was giving you some stick for staying out of the fight to save your pretty finger nails!! Get stuck in man. You Northerners should be used to a good scrap!!

Oh no nothing like that mate, was just disappointed in myself and felt I'd let the younger lads down a bit.

No chance of that ATM, had a bit of a sabatical at the start of the season, but realised I missed it too much and have gradually got back into it at the back end of last year.

Merstham vs Chertsey is scheduled for the 10th Feb. The winners could play AFC Wimbledon ....which would be nice, money-wise. Not that they need it!
