but after our superb win on Saturday our forum should be buzzing. Maybe some of the fans prefer us to lose to have a good old moan?

Just a thought, be an interesting point of debate.

Don't wanna shout too much. I've seen how things work out when T.O.T.S do the shouting. Crash!!

Cracking result though. Now for the hard bit...to be able do it again,& again & again!. Maybe THEN will we all shout louder.

Well as I think I said on an earlier thread, Saturday's game will be difficult without Harwood and Wilson, but who knows stranger things happen in football.

If the lads battle and defend like they did on Saturday then we might snatch a point.

It was going to be hard enough WITH them let alone without them. But as you say many a surprise happens in football.

Personally I'm targeting the next two home games v Tooting & Boreham Wood. Repeat Saturdays performance vs those two & I'll certainly be shouting louder & lets face it we have EVERY chance of getting points in those two games if the players put the good work in again.Tonbridge & Canvey away......any result will be a "bonus" at either or both.

BGA-it could be you !

I'm buzzing

Worried about our next two games-arguably the toughest two remaining fixtures.

Would be great to get 3 points from one of them-that would really set us up to get some real performances in last 10 games.

I still reckon as per my prediction ,we will be 17th.

Coming back to your post, i reckon part of the 'problem' this time of year is our lack of midweek fixtures so nothing to talk about .Saturday seems a long way away.

Its at times like this you need a KSC or League cup game to keep one stimulated

Unfortunatley, for the tonbridge game the forum normally get hijacked by loads of inane postings from tonbridge supporters;so its a fixture that turns me off.

My point is Tony, too many on here moan like anything when we lose and say things like the lads are not good enough but you never see them come on here when things go right for us for a change.

As Big Nev said in the paper the lads are trying their best and he would like the fans to try and get behind them too. I must say that the lads in the choir and the ovation the players got at the end must help them.

Thats better, cheers Michael, I know some of the lads look on here so I just think nice for them to see some praise instead of the moans for a change.

I thought praise was a-plenty Alan after Saturday. You can't really argue with, find fault with or moan at a good performance & result.Well it should be harder to do so anyway.I think those that witnessed the game are full of praise as should others be that couldn't get there.

We will just have to do it for them in that case. I've put in a moan on a few occasions myself when we haven't performed but Saturdays efforts can't really be faulted.
I did mention elsewhere about the long ball over our defence as being something that we should work on more but that's not casting any blame or having a moan its just an observation. Constructive comments in my book, something that could help us even more if worked on in training. Lets face it I'm not the only one to have seen this threat/problem.

The ovation for the players from the fans at the end was a welcome return. I recall a time - ok we were winning more than we lost - but the players always acknolwedged the fans at the end of the game. That mutual encouragement - whatever the result - could be a good thing to continue. But it would need the players - perhaps led by the captain - to come over to the fans.

League table still looks pretty grim to me with the games in hand other teams have got. We'll probably need at least 45 points to stay up. So that's seven wins. Draws in our position are not much good.

Must-win games in my view are...home v Tooting, Boreham Wood, Horsham, Ramsgate. Away v Harrow and Heybridge. And then we have to hope Staines are already in the play-offs and have nothing to play for on the final day.

I am not having a pop at you Tony, because you always congratulate when needed. Agree with Wellsie was good to see first Dan Stubbs, Pat Mullins, Morris and Gregs I think it was come over and acknowledge us all.

I think buzzgate makes a good point.

We have seen no consistency for over two seasons.

This season we have not won two consecutive games, so you can understand people not getting too excited-just to have dreams knocked down again.

realistically, no-one expects to win every game, but just to go two games unbeaten would be soooo good.
