The Legend has gone

Recommended Posts

Yesterdays match at Knaphill was called off which ended my time as Frimley Green manager. I had resigned last year but was asked by the committee to stay on so there was no unrest during our Vase run. Once this was over and christmas was out the way I again asked the committee if they had found a replacement. This sped up the process and I am now a manger with no team. Wonder what is next for me in football? Maybe a playing comeback at 35 as I have the regret of retiring to early at 33.

It's a sad day for football in Surrey and it looks like i might have to have a drink later and raise a toast to you SL!

Go out and watch some games mate, keep your hand in and see what transpires. You'll enjoy not having the stress of it all and hopefully you'll comeback refreshed next season.

I want to thank SL for trusting me as his assistant and I hope that he does decide to start playing again.

I am not sure exactly what my role will be with the club now, although I have expressed my desire to start playing again. I will be continuing discussions with the new management team this week.

No disrespect TC but i've never heard of them, but if aupostie says that Dave Robinson did a good job for thier ressies then he should be ok,that was one of my managerial posts and we won the league and a couple of cups and I thank Ash for that exsperience, it gave me a lot of confidence to move up to first team management albeit elsewhere.
