Windsor budget question

On the Chesham board (at the bottom of the thread where their chairman promised a refund) was this comment...

I've heard/seen comments like this before, so can anyone knowledgeable actually comment - is our playing budget especially high for this league? I didn't think it was, and we don't seem to have been buying in star signings. (Not that we especially need any).

 

Looking back, when Simon Lane left we were told that he "was given a significant budget with which to achieve getting the club promoted back to The Premier Division at the first attempt". I'd assume Keith's getting the same playing budget, but since we now have a stable squad are we really still spending significantly more than most other clubs at this level? Above what we earn?

How do chesham know the size of our budget ?

Its all speculation but as i know as little as those saying we have the highest budget i will comment, the average budget is
