Strange signing for sycob given the chairman pleading poverty last week. I especially like the bit where it says that nicholls left uxbridge to join sycob to work on his discipline and feels that the sycob management would be able to help him.

Am looking forward to the next SYCOB game, as I am sure there will be a good amount of baiting done - will have to run a book to see how long it takes to get him sent off!

I don't know... Jarvo certainly knows all the tricks, so not much will get past him: and as they say, poacher turned gamekeeper! Plus whatever people's misgivings (I didn't expect him to do well at first) he's proved to be a good manager, gets the right results.

And of course I can't see even Nicholls ignoring him... not more than once, anyway.

 

So it might be a smart move if he's serious about learning control. Although I agree I don't see him moving for peanuts (after all he can be a very good player when he forgets to be an *rse), so you have to wonder about the finances...
