... since Richard Shittu scored our last League goal (against Harlow on 20th December). Since then we have parted company with strikers Shittu, Adesidye, Masade, Savage & now Mo Takaloo. Now we have as available strikers Healey, Bailey, Kenny Pratt(is he injured or just out of favour?), Joe Taylor and Ryan Peters (plus Luke Coleman who is still on loan at Tunbridge Wells).

 

Where is the next goal coming from ?

I simply wonder why Adesidye,masade,savage were all tried.

They had'nt succeeeded elsewhere, so why would they suddenly come good ?

 

I can see why Takoloo was tried-at least he had some pedigree;and i wish Shittu had been perservered with.

 

having said that, i still strongly believe that its a central midfielder thats needed to keep possesion and make a few chances.Once we are 'tighter' that leads to confidence in the strikers.

Just curious, but - as my original post - does anyone know what's happened to Kenny Pratt - is he injured? (or just disillusioned?).

Have seen him at games Peter, but not sure. He might be back on the bench tomorrow now Mo Tako has left

Kenny was injured. Has been training the past couple of weeks and scored a couple of belters so looks to be near ready.

I personally would like him to figure again, trys 110% and am sure he will soon start scoring for us.

I think TSO reported that he played in the reserves win v dartford last saturday-in what seemed to be a very strong reserve line up.

 

Looks like we have Pratt,taylor, cliff and brown all in the reserves and possibly knocking on the first team door.

 

I don't really know who is the best prospect-and whilst pratt did ok, he did go off a bit towards the end of his run in the first team.

 

That given, he did just as well as the likes of asibye and savage, so you wonder why Yorath bothered with those two
