League Cup and Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy Draw

At our League meeting held last night at Hullbridge Sports FC, the following Cup draws were made :-

 

Essex Senior League Cup Semi-Finals ( Two legged )

 

Sawbridgeworth Town v Burnham Ramblers

 

Barkingside v Romford or Enfield 1893

 

The Final will be held at Southend Manor FC on Bank Holiday Monday 4th May at 3pm

 

 

The Gordon Brasted Memorial Trophy Semi-Final ( one tie )

 

Burnham Ramblers or Southend Manor v Eton Manor or Bowers & Pitsea

 

Stansted v Enfield 1893 or Romford

 

The Final will be held at Burnham Ramblers FC on Easter Saturday 11th April at 3pm.

There has to be a stewards if Burnham reach the GBMT final, no?

I will take them in both finals . Mind you, we have the small matter of circumnavigating Club 18-93 first (twice).

I know the 'tradition' word may come into play here, but why does the GBT final have to be played on Easter Saturday? Normally there are other games on at the same time, as will be the case this season, so surely common sense should prevail and hold it on the Easter Monday.

Two games in three days though Coup....... Magic might have to consider a "weak" team.
