Cove v Banstead

3-1 to Cove. All Cove in the 1st half and how it was only 2 0 at ht no-one will ever know and one of the Cove Strikers had at least 4 great chances to score but he only got 1. Some finishing practice for him at training. Sorry to say this EG but Banstead were dreadful 1st half. 2nd half much more even as Banstead had a go at Cove. Cove went 3 up and Banstead got 1 back with 10 to go. By attacking in the 2nd half Banstead left themselves wide open and TBH Cove probably had 12 very good chances during the match and I am sure Duncs will be slightly disappointed they only got 3. Was impressed with Cove going forward. Very quick up front and I havent seen a defence this season who wouldn't be troubled by that. Oh and JJ how the hell can you give the lino grief over an offside when you weren't even looking in that direction when the ball is played Also bumped into another ex Krooner down there who I believe is signing for Cove.

I think you're being quite kind to us actually. Yes we were awful 1st half but mainly because Cove were very good.

yer spot on Kroons but one thing I have learned at this level is not to be too harsh on the lads nobody means to miss(was begining to wonder last night)its far better to encourage them to keep trying, anybody can shout and scream it doesn't make you a manager far better to tell people how to put things right(if you know how to)than make a spectacle of yourself.Having been involved with management for a long time now I realise that, as I've said before,we must all understand our own limitations and not exspect a silk purse from a sows ear.
