Just seems some teams have a view of Windsor that is possibly not realistic "Big time Charlies" and "The money will dry up soon" being two coments from two different clubs I have heard. Success seems to breed resentment and always assumptions of massive wealth behind the success. Seems we are the big club spending all the money, might be news to a few at the club?!?!?!

I'll never forget the Tiverton fans time after time asking us if we'd had tea with the queen! It seemed like each person thought they were the first person to think of it.

 

By the time we left the ground they slagged us off as white trash. A Proud proud day!

Surely the fact that we werent prepared to meet the wage demands of that player from burnham his name escapes me,surely that shows that we are not big spenders.i think he is back there at burnham now.

Don't forget it was a cup tie so they get 50% of the profit from the gate receipts ie he's giving them back their own money anyway or, to be even more realistic, he's giving them back your money as they certainly didn't make up half of the crowd!.

Personally I think it was a genuine gesture from someone embarrassed and not entirely happy with the performance of anyone associated with the team. Kudos to the man for stating it was not good enough for the fans. We should have won that game taking league position and form into account but that was just so one sided in the end the score flattered Chesham. So if we beat Swindon/Andover we could possibly meet Chesham in the semis of the league cup, how tense would that match be?!?!?!?!?

Did anyone notice that chesham themselves won 8-1 yesterday,all the goals scored by different players. I wonder what the manager said to them to pick them up.
