Final score 1-1

North leigh finished with 10 players.

Slough failed to take advantage.

No fresh legs put on to pressure the 10 man north leigh.

Lots of missed chances for Slough first half.

North Leigh strong at start of 1st half and then Slough strong for rest of the first 45.

Fairly even second half.

Sloughs goal from a well taken shot by Platt.

Yet another game without a win.

Finished one all and was probably a fair result. I thought we did OK today. Superb goal from Platt, and a cracking save from their keeper from Yash near the end.

A bit disapointed we couldn't press the issue a bit more when they went a man down but I thought we battled well tonight, just lacking a bit of confidence and composure when the game was perhaps ours for the taking.

I thought a fair result, both teams had chances and it couldve been 3-3, a decent enough performance, frustrating at times, but at other times very good. Consistancy throughout games is still lacking but we had plenty of good chances.

MOM: Laurence Brown

Positives:

4 at the back, hurrah!

Sonny looked decent enough to be playing in midfield for us.

Didn't result in a 6-1 loss.

Negatives:

Still trying to accommodate everyone in every position. Stick to 2 up front and an option from the bench.

Unable to take advantage of playing against 10 men.

Allaway's injury looked bad.

North Leigh scored with first and only major attack.

I spoke to a few North Leigh fans as the final whistle went, and they told me they were very happy and relieved to get a point.

The players looked like they wanted it, the management were shouting at them to take all three points, and not sit back, and

I thought their keeper played a blinder, and kept them in the game.

Also, how often do you see a team at any level walk over a team that has gone down to ten men, especially when his team mates think he should be on the pitch. (Even though stamping should be a straight red).

When senior management comment before the game 'fingers crossed we will win' you know you have problems.

I thought the game was dire in places, atmosphere the worst at a game for a long time,we are a losing team going nowhere except downwards. Dread to think what the score will be saturday.

A good first half, just a shame we didn't take our chances. Second half both sides tailed off a bit, and it was disappointing to see North Leigh finish the stronger of the two sides, even though they only had 10 men.

Our league home record is 2 wins, 7 draws, 3 defeats. Some room for improvement there, but at least we havn't lost that many.

Well if your happy with losing 2 points at home good luck to ya,We'd rather look at the proper way to assess football.Didn't your mum tell ya that when you resort to swearing the arguments already lost.

Your right you wouldn't of had a chance to get a point from them last year...They wasn't in this league!

Dispite what some fans clearly think, not all, you dont have a good given right to be near the top. And you cannot go from a side that went down to play off contenders in one season!

I thought it was a strange game.

First half both defences looked shakey. I thought North Leigh had better possession and over-ran our very lightweight midfield. Having said that we had much the better of the chances and could have been 2 or 3 goals to the good but for their keeper.

Second half we started much the better but as the half wore on we seemed to get tired and North Leigh took over. Again but for their keeper we could have scored a couple more.

Laurence Brown had an Ok first half and a very good second half but from start to finish I thought Rory Smith was excellent and held our defence together.

Still need to sort out the midfield which was far too lightweight imo.

I must admit I was very disappointed by our result Tuesday. Yes, we played OK but according to the Oxford mail they had a few injuries and their manager is quoted a saying "he'd be happy with a draw".

We played well in the last 20 mins of the first half where Lee Farrow kept them in it, but what after that and before that? All of the second-half I only really remember one shot from Yash and we created nothing when they had 10-men.

I was actually quite disappointed, as I felt they were there for the taking.
