Clarification - Rikki Burbridge

Rikki was/is with us as a non contracted player, therefore, technically, we couldn't loan him out. So for him to move to Waltham Abbey we had to release him of his ryman status as a Billericay player, he could then sign for Waltham Abbey. (Rules is Rules)

 

Prior to Rikki's ban, he had been carrying an injury, Rikki was finding it hard to earn a first team place, so it was decided that Rikki would go another club in order that he got games and regained his fitness/sharpness.

 

Put simply, had he been contracted we could have used the word Loan.

 

And before anyone mentions Jack West, it was our improper usage of the word Loan with his move to Maldon, that meant we had to get it right with Rikki.

so if he regains fitness and sharpness will there be a chance of him returning to us or is that not the case??
