Chertsey Town

All this hatred and jealousy towards Spencer is a joke.

The facts appear to be how people want to see them.

If he wants to sign a player and offers the player more money than he is on, what is the problem? No one knocks the player for leaving, they say fair play to him to why knock Spencer? He is paying. Fact is, no one would knock the same player if he left to join a Ryman club and Chertsey will be there at the end of next season if not this one. Players have a right to play for what they can get and the clubs that can pay will get them. Its the same as The Premiership but on a smaller scale but I do agree that money will not always mean success.

I have crossed swords with a Spencer on numerous occasions and have always found him to be sporting and polite. His side is always well prepared and they endeavor to prepare the side professionally on match days. What goes on off the pitch at Chertsey is possibly no more underhand than at any other club but because it is Chertsey everyone jumps on the bandwagon to slag him/them off. Its weak and smacks of jealousy.

People in glass houses should not throw stones so the saying goes but there appears to be a lot of it going on on here.

If Chertsey have broken rules or any other club for that matter then it is up to the league to have the bravery to investigate the offences accordingly and punish them where necessary, not up to the clubs to throw their hands in the air and turn themselves in.

Seems like some of the frontrunners are fearful of being overrun by a late Chertsey run and ae trying to scupper it by any means necessary, fair or unfair. The only club it seems who should be upset, is Ashford, so why does it bother any other CCL team? It hasnt affected any of you.

What club would not want Chertseys budget? Not many. You should all enjoy the challenge of tryng to compete with them on the pitch as many have done this season rather than trying to bring them down off it. Its all fear and lack of character fellas!

Think it's time for the medicine sunbeam.

No one would have a problem with him spending the money if he spent if fairly. But cheating makes it an issue, and whatever way you want to butter it up, illegal approaches are cheating.

Play fair, no probs, cheat and expect uproar from other clubs. To say it doesn't effect other clubs in this league is cack. Do you think Chertsey, who in their last meeting, got hammered 5-0 by the same team would have got a draw without the Bamfords? Dream on.

The Beatles once said, money can't buy me love. Chertsey are finding this out, but only due to the way they are waving it under everyones nose whether they are contracted or not.

Clubs assemble teams in accordance with their budget. Some players are good enough to warrant payments, some are only motivated by payments. The only people who know about illegal approaches are the player ad the club who wants him. Of course the club who are losing the player will scream foul play, wake up!

Illegal approaches are common place. Players approach mates at other clubs, 9 out of 10 7 dayers are put in once the club knows the player wants to come etc etc. Stop bleating and get on with it. Sour grapes!

Sandance Prick, sorry kid!

you must be drunk or something as I think you have all this in your head and are living in this Chertsey world that is just not there.

I really don't think people care what money Chertsey are spending, they just think it is silly and pathetic for a club to be spending these amounts of money. When it needs to be spent on other stuff.

The club have one of the worst club houses, some of the worst changing rooms, rubbish parking, some of the nasty and foul supporters I have come across.

Keep drinking and dreaming!

Hey Sundance what do you make of the latest one about Chertsey then.

Rumour has it that they are the ones who have spoilt the Man City offer for Kaka by offering him more wink
