Nice win, albeit against bottom of table

Did anyone else enjoy yesterday? Only 183 were there but I think we were well entertained.

I think we have a nice shape and 3 - 0 is comfortable at home whch we haven't been able to say for a while.

Well done keep up the improvement.

Now off to icey Chatham - grief that is a cold place in winter to go to!

Yes it was a good win against a team who are struggling. However, it appeared that we were trying too hard to play fancy football in the first half when a simpler approach would have sufficed.

Mind you, what was said at half time must have worked as MD scored yet another cracker.

The attendence figure does not make sense what so ever, 183 is the fewest we have had this season for a league game yet its our 4th win out the last 5 league matches. We were getting more through the gate when we were losing every week, it makes a mockery of those who say if we keep losing the gates will go down and so will the club.

What we need is our centrally based stadium for easy access for everyone and a promotion and hopefully we'll get closer to the 400-500 mark, but it all seems a long way off. So i'll echo the above comments of continue the good improvements and hopefully a play off spot is achieveable.

It's a well known fact that in lower league and non league football that you normally get the lowest gate of the season on the last Saturday before Christmas and the first Saturday back after the New Year. The current economic concerns will also have an effect and I reckon Town's defeat on Tuesday also reduced the attendance marginally. All in all 183 wasn't too bad considering and those that were there were treated to a great second half performance.

It will be interesting to see what Club 18-93's attendances will be like at Broxbourne in the 2009/10 season. Goffs Lane is even further away from public transport that Wodson Park is from Ware station!

The bus would be easy for their supporters who live in Cheshunt or Waltham Abbey but it would be a hassle with all the connections needed for fans who live anywhere near Southbury Road.

Really? Surely they would get on the 279 bus at Southbury Road & get off at Waltham Cross where they would get the relevent connecting bus, no?
