How many points for January?

February is an important month for us, looking at the fixtures. Mind you we will need do better than that when we last played these teams, 3 points from 12 when we played AFC Hayes, Bracknell, Abingdon and Bishops Cleeve is the reason why we are in our current position.

In any case we are looking forwards not backwards.

Do you think that Sweetmans record of 5 wins out of 22 is acceptable?

My opinion for what its worth is:

1. We have a far better chance of avoiding relegation and progressing forward on the pitch for next season is we keep a consistent backroom staff.

2. We have Sweetman, Roberts and Maye who all have proper experience at managing at this level of football and I think this must count for something. I believe that this means that they are more likely to, sooner or later, finally find our winning formula. You couldn't say this about West, Wilkinson or Betts.

3. By getting rid of the manager, you will be creating the very problem that haunted the club throughout the latter stages of last season. Going through 3 regime changes in relatively quick succession last year did us no good whatsever and I can't see the benefit of doing so again.

We were tenants at Wexham Park under Browne, so quite what revenue streams you think we may have had, other than the generosity of Mr Deaner (or not as was often the case) I don't know

Are you completely thick? Tea Bar and bar taking went straight to the Thornes. Slough Town did not see any of that money.

Bigger gates yes, but at a higher level of the football pyramid.
