Even Heybridge are winning 3-2 at Tooting. We'll be holding everyone up soon. However,we WILL score next week & we WILL win v Ashford. I promise!! (Cheque's already on its way) l.o.l. Well, it worked at Hendon.

I think we may have too much to do now. We need to win two games to stay where we are. Here are the facts

Hastings 31 points 2 games in hand over Margate

Ramsgate 29 points

Harrow 26 points 3 games in hand

Hendon 25 points 2 games in hand

Harlow 24 points 4 games in hand

Heybridge 20 points 4 games in hand

A championship winning performance needed to survive. No chance!!!

We MUST get a striker from somewhere on loan. That striker must be of at least Conference or league standard for us to have any chance. I cant understand why Bailey is bought in to score goals and he always appears to be playing outside the box and putting balls into it. There is no target man at the moment

how have we ended up playing so many more games than everyone else?? could that be part of the issue, is our squad more fatigued than the other teams in the league from having more work to do?

or am i now clutching at straws, in search of a decent excuse for their somewhat inadequate performances?

Agree the signs & mathematics aren't looking good but its not impossible, even for us,to string a few wins together(I know,it dosen't look possible at this time). It might still happen despite what we think.

If we eventually are doomed to lower tier football then we will just have to accept it but we MUST continue to support the club. Its OUR club no matter what league or division we are in.

But again its not a certainly just yet that we will drop a league.

It will be interesting to read the surporters views that went today on the way we played and what Ty may have said if any of them spoke to him . If i had a question for TY now it would be

Is this one of the harder challenges you have taken on , where would you put it in you top 10 of footy moments throughout your career.

Cookie, I admire your optimism and wish I could share it but we badly needed something from todays game particularly as other teams around us all picked up points and have games in hand (some of them 3 or 4)Our last 4 games, however well we may have played in spells have brought 0 points, 0 goals and 9 conceded. It is not impossible if we can somehow acquire a proven striker and a decent goalkeeper but failing that it is mission impossible. We haven't had back to back wins all season and draws are now no good to us so Ryman South would now seem inevitable, sadly.

Although I wasn't actually there today, and in light of MM's post, you do have to ask: have we really moved forward since the departure of BA? From what I've seen, I would have to say no. Will be interesting to hear the post-mortem from those who made the trip, but I've confined myself to Ryman South football next year now.

Blue Balls,I do share in yours & others concerns & the need for an improvement in results. It would be silly of me not to.

But when & only when its mathematically impossible,THEN & only THEN will I personally concede defeat, not before.
