Game(s) OFF today

Recommended Posts

Its beautiful and sunny here in Farnbro. Gutted the match is off. Was very much looking forward to it.

We had torrential rain during the night so not suprised when i heard there are 12 huge puddles on the pitch!

This is not a bite before anyone calls it!!

We had a full squad today and would have also named 5 subs as we now have too many players in our team that can comfortably make the starting 11.

I arrived at the pitch at 12.50 today before training and YES the pitch did have some huge puddles. The groundsman was down there 1st thing today and was amazed at the size of the puddles. A local ref was called in early to assess the pitch to stop any unnecessary travelling by Banstead. We had our fingers rapped for not getting last weeks match called off early when NGU travelled.

In my opinion (which has nothing to do with the club), i felt the pitch could have been forked and the puddles brushed away to allow the game to go ahead.

I was cheesed off that the match was postponed. We all were!! We desperately wanted to play especially after a very good performance on tuesday.

Ok....

BITE OVER!!

Kroons you fat kent we seem to have a multitude of players, because the ressies didn't have a game(again)we had about 30 to 40 players to pick from, the pitch in my opinion was fine but after what happened with your mate against NGU I think we decided to be axtra cautious, can we not have a rule introduced on a saturday that the match officials decide if the games should go ahead, different for midweek games as the kick offs are to late for that to happen the clubs should then decide, and Kroons I think your mixing me up with Crapkeeper he said those things on your forum not me

"You really are getting up my nose Kroons, you even tell averyone you went to watch the Sandhurst game which is 5 minutes from us as well, and for your information our groundsman had our pitch in superb condition for todays game, have a look at your own website is Crapkeeper nearer the mark,oh and another one of your youngsters has joined us, Tom Mcgarry."

And I quote Duncs. I just like the way you and JJ gave it the large one when all but 2 games were called off and then we have a bit of rain and you get it called off at 10 am and most clubs are on smile Top notch !
