this is the first post i have entered on the forum and would be interested in other opions.

like it or not the squad we have will virtualy be the one that takes through this season, as we all no this due to the cash shortage, and yes;; some of the boys may not be quiet ready yet.

what i cannot understand is where this constant criticism of these young players is going to help.

our home form has been a disaster??, my own opinion is some of the boys are frightend of making mistakes which will hinder there game,

surly 100% support is vital at the moment

Thats why most of the good locals play elsewhere now. Thats the one good thing this lot are good at slagging players off. I dont suppose the guilty ones have played football at a decent level either otherwise they would understand players need to be developed and supported throughout. If this forum was shut down today it would be a god send to the club and players. Where else can you sit and assasinate people behind their backs without fear of being chined

You should have not wrote the 2nd paragraph as you stated in your rants before its not good to slag off players ,

2nd paragraph:

By the way what grade do you class playing for Margate its no better than playing for a Sunday side other than you have to pay subs Sundays ,,,,,,,,,,, does this mean as you state in your 1st paragraph your son would have met the grade , you have stated that MFC are Sunday league in the 2nd , i take it your son would be Sunday league at best then .

By the way as a Dad myself its good to be proud of your kids and you have my respect for that but never involve them in petty diputes they are the inocent one`s . Up the Gate .

I don't think anybody has really come on here slagging off players or management. There have been a number of people who have critisised players, which you will get on any forum, and as paying fans are entitled to do.

 

Everybody knows what financial position we are in, and we know TY and NS are trying their best to compete. However we can see that the team isn,t quite there yet and people are frightened that the spiral of our relegations is continuing and we dont know where it might stop. Fans have endured being top of the Conference, a fantastic FA Cup live match, to ground sharing at two different grounds, forced relegation, massive debts a demolished ground (for no apparent reason), the continued lack of support from the council, and that has coming from London based architects, two winding up petitions, further relegation, and now the prospect of another relegation. I think that Margate fans have been a bloody site more tolerant than most other clubs fans, and the fact that we can still get more supporters through the turnstiles than most other teams in our league, and still take a good number to away games, and get supporters to donate thousands of pounds of their own money, is a bloody miracle.

 

So bigtw please dont be too harsh on people who really care. There, rant over

Yes great reply Margateshot ,I think even the loyalist of fans

may say things they do not really mean at times,but its the shear frustration of it all that gets their backs up.

When you pay good money at home and away matches you would expect to see at least a half decent game that would satisfy

your being there, at the moment though theres nothing.

Thank you for calling me a half-wit CE, just because some of us on here get behind the team, no matter what, does not make me anymore wrong than you are for having a go at the team. As Tony says its an open forum and, as long as people post in a non aggressive way I am happy as a moderator to allow most posts.
