To be fair though, the club was in free fall at that point, fortunately things have stablised on and off the pitch since then - no matter what some people on here think. If I remember rightly we were also talking about creating a supporters run club too around that time. I think a merger would be a bad idea for us especially, it would certainly hurt our chances of returning to Slough if we merged with a club around 8-9 miles away.

I find it so strange that Roger Rebel comes in here and gives us a nice stir ..yet he is the one with answers re the council's position and their own ideas , surley if there is a will and a way ..Roger you could be doing your bit , instead of playing devils advocate...

The club is working hard with the council and its a slow and very difficult task and of course we want to bring Slough Town FC home...but of course the more time it takes , our supporters get frustrated and worried about the future... which is fully understood by everyone at STFC ...supporters included...but we have a great chairmen who is doing his best to secure our dreams..

so hang on in there .... chris sliski

After Saturdays performance we need a win tomorrow. If we dont win tomorrow night,

there is a fair chance we will end up in a relegation battle,as

I cant see us getting much change out of Windsor and Truro. I would like to know why Yash, our most potent threat, was taken off and

replaced by Tom on Saturday, was he injured? At that stage we were 2-1 down and could have equalised as Ciren were under pressure.

At 3-1 down we were out of it. Strange decision to me.
