It's true what they say though, you should never meet your heroes!

Well my mate used to live across the road to Phil Jupitus in Stanford Le Hell Hole. I saw him standing outside his house ( I mean Phil standing outside his own house not my mate standing out side phil's house, or Phil standing outside my mate's house, or my mate standing outside his own house)...... my mate don't live there anymore....... nor does Phil.

Also

I once shook hands with Elton John at an England Under 21 games in Copenhagen........ before he became of the gay!

That fantastic scene in the film 'Porky's' when someone calls the McDonalds and asks to speak to Michael Hunt.

WAITRESS: Shouting to all the customers......

'Mike Hunt ? Mike Hunt ? Has anyone seen Mike Hunt ???!

We have all forgot the Basil Fawlty " you started it you invaded Poland"......... also the episode where he jumps back when confronted by the black guy (a bit OTT for telly nowdays I would suggest)

Another recent Steve Mac comment on Corrie when he accuse Lloyd of being an "OAP dofile"

That's what I mean, he was like a duck out of water in Albert Square and he and Pauline Fowler were like chalk and cheese, Martin never really accepted him as a replacement Father for Arthur and the storyline just didn't have any credibility which was a shame as Ian Lavender deserved a far better role in the show.

I heard the 'Don't Tell Him Pike' sketch on Radio Five Live recently and it surely has to take the crown of best comedy moment of all time
