AFF
They were relegated in consecutive seasons from 1 to 3. Someone played for them and was transferred when they went down to the 3rd to a Division 1 team who were, themselves relegated in consecutive seasons. Thus, he was in a relegated team for 4 consecutive years. A striker, I think. Ramsden? Rambo? I don't know. For many years prior to that they were the only team never to have been promoted or relegated from the 3rd Division. Early 90's? Peter Taylor. David Webb. Justin Edinburgh. Stan Cullymore? Barry Fry? Bill Garner. No that was the 70s. When I was a little younger and working in the car park at Roots Hall, they had a striker called Gary Moore. Bore a remarkable physical resemblance to me. One match day, I was there in my white coat and a young girl of 12 or so asked me for my autograph thinking that I was injured and helping out for the day! I didn't like to disappoint her. I don't know.
