Disappointing. All that says to me is that he didn't want to work to break into the 1st team, especially if he gave the reason that he had to concentrate on work.

Fatboy? are you sure, seems a bit unfair,for what its worth i think he is a decent player at oxford city and burnham too,do think he was a bit unlucky not having played much and having injuries,but definately a good player,all im saying is maybe the hellenic demands are less than what was required here. players come and go.

At least at Flackwell he only has 24 leauge games to play in unlike the massive 21 leauge games Slough still have to play - so the move will leave a lot more time for work.

 

With the club doing so well and having a forward looking manager, it is strange that players would want to leave.

 

Just hope the departure of these 3 players will not leave us short of players should we have any injuries or suspensions, as we would not want the management to hide behind this as an excuse for poor results.

So we wont miss Pritchard leaving either? - Pritchard was by far one of the best players the club has had for a number of years - yes the opertunity at Flackwell was very tempting but I believe there were other issues that caused his departure.

Having read the article in the observer today i dont really think there was anything else in it,he seemed to say that he wouldnt have left for any other club.Said a lot of good things about slough town and its supporters too.

I also think it quoted that he wouldn't have considered joining a team from a lower level ??
