Ryman League Cup next round draw...

...sees us at home to Hornchurch, providing we can both overcome our respective "Walthams" (they have Forest to play, we have Abbey).

 

Not sure when we'd play them (if we progress), but I'd guess it'll be around the time we entertain them in the League.

 

We could be sick of Urchins by the end of the season! But I'd take a playoff game against them!

We play the 'Orrible Urchins next Saturday (24th). So when is the next round of the League Cup?

At least we are at home to them this time. Well, if we beat Waltham Abbey that is.

 

On the fixtures list on the website, it states that the next round is to be played on the 27th, which is the following Tuesday. I'm not sure if this date is affected by playing the Waltham Abbey game later then it should have.

Urchins have, on paper, a lesser task than us in progressing with a home draw against Forest who are 2nd from bottom in the Ryman North. Like us, they meet next Tuesday.

 

A visit to Abbey could be a tougher one for us. They're 4th in the Ryman North and have found the net 53 tomes. Billy Holland is that leagues top goal scorer with 16 from 19 appearences. However, they're on a poor run at present having lost their last 3 league games, including last Saturdays home fixture against 5th from bottom Chatham.

So if we manage to overcome Wabby, which is no easy task as Rick has pointed out, we will play Hornchurch on Saturday the 24th, then again 3 days later on the 27th

Hornchurch and Forest have yet to play, lets not jump to conclusions. Waltham Forest can always cause an upset to the 'Mighty Urchins'.

I'd forgotten that Hornchurch weren't through yet.

 

New Manager at Waltham Forest as well, it could well be W'abby V W'orrest in the next round.

 

Anyway its Harrow Borough next, we beat the 3-0 in March 2005, goals by Elder, Armstrong and cousins.
