Surely it has to stop now.

Kaka to Man City for 100M and 1/4 M in wages a week.

Top Level football is morally corrupt. I call on all fans of Premier Clubs, especially the ones losing their jobs, to boycott this nonsense and watch real football.

This is sick, I hope it all blows up in their faces. Its' bad enough those c0cks over at Old Trafford thinking they rule football without this lot now going to try and buy trophies. hope they get relegated this season now!

As a City fan I have to say that it's totally ridiculous the amount of money being talked about.

I'd rather we spent a load on some quality defenders and a holding midfielder, plus another goal scoring forward, as that is what we are in need of.

Makes you wonder if Hughes is having any say on this.

I think his only say in the matter is yes. as it would be for any manager at MCFC for fear of taking on the owners and being sacked.

Totally agree...Lunacy...I for one stopped watching Pro football at that level years ago..Occasionally watch the Bees but find non-league football more enjoyable to watch and discuss. That is probably because I can get closer to it and relate to it more,,,,as was the case when the pro's were human beings and not pampered, out of touch with reality, money grabbing paracites.

I do blame ,however ,people who continue to watch, sky television and of course thet knob Rupert Murdock.

Right... that feels good getting that off my chest and like JJ will someone now please give me a hand off this soap box.

I don't know where people get it from about budgets in the CCL as no figures have ever been published to my knowledge. So unless there are some hard FACTS I would not listen to hearsay or get involved with guesswork. I do believe there are budgets at this level but who can say for definate who has what and how much and don't forget its easy to say money buys leagues but if that is so why then are Chertsey not run away leaders.

Spot on Krooner, as a life long Chelsea fan I fell out of love with them when the crazy money turned up. They have a great youth team but non are likely to get ever get a game until the money runs out! i'm far happier watching Guildford. Real Football for real people the sooner the rest of England wakes up to the Non League the better, and the folks from abroad can keep the Premier League.

i know alot of the boys at bedfont green and can say that i know that they have a fairly decent budget(fact) i wont publish what i know however in terms of fees being paid out and i dont think that what the teams are doing is wrong if they are showing a bit of ambition to push their club onto the next level and out of this league. To have quality and achieve you must pay especially if its proven(cooper BG, Pomroy Cherts) are just two examples. at the end of the day if bg or chertsey get promoted than i am sure they will say it is worth every penny.

Completely agree Spaniard, they will see it as worth every penny if promoted. Its important that we have clubs striving to get to the next level, and I believe that the ambition of Chertsey and Bedfont Green has seen other teams raise there games. We now have a great league.

Heard rumour that Chertsey have signed two very good players today??
