No surprise there then. Southend are the bully boys of Essex.

Trouble is Orient have them on Tuesday and we will need at least 10 Kaka's to have any chance.

But, then Orient could surprise me and Southend could have an off day.

was a superb night at the hall , we won no matter what with the money the club made from the two matches against chelsea ,

must have been one of the loudest crowds we have had for many many years , shame itv didnt really capture the last 6 mins or so when the crowd were on their feet singing , flag waving , dancing around as tho we one won the cup!! and as for the chelsea fans ''4-1 up and you still dont sing ''.

no one outside the ground could belive it when the ref called the match off' the fog was starting to lift , and the clubs 'forcast' was that the fog was going to be clearing for the night , which it did and ended up perfect! would have been up roar outside the ground if the call-off wasnt changed .

still thats the fa cup for another year but what a night when every single one southend fans were proud to be shrimpers, and the every one of the players went off as hero's

Well done to Southend....at 1-1, they had a quality chance to make it 2-1, but then Chelsea came back and slammed the door shut...in the 2nd half...

 

4-1 was probably a fair reflection of the tie, overall...but saying that, Southend gave them a scare....great display by the home fans
