Taken from the Waltham Forest (and Hornchurch) website:

 

"Waltham Forest FC are happy to announce that their experienced defender Olawale Ojelabi will be taking over as player / manager with immediate effect. The Club would like to place on record its sincerest thanks for all the work done by Tony Ievoli who will be leaving the club. Forest Secretary, Andy Perkins paid tribute to Mr Ievoli

At Town where he only stayed a few weeks, played 3 League and 1 Cup game and left in September.

Sorry, but I was not impressed in those 4 games.

That does not mean that some time ago he was not a good Player.
