I have to agree with Never Been.

 

I was one of the 48 and I also thought he had scored them all. Especially last minute people were saying he nearly scored his 6th. This may need checking.

 

Credit to both teams and the officials for playing this game. There was no doubt the pitch was playable for 60 minutes, last 30 minutes were difficult.

I respect your views and thank you for making them but as you are no doubt aware, I have to accept the score and scorers that the home side give me. Nevetheless, all will be sorted soon as I have requested the official Stansted FC version of events and , hopefully, no one, especially Mr Demetriou, will lose out in the end !

Yes, I can now officially confirm that Danny Demetriou of Stansted FC scored all five goals at Mauritius Sports, this being the second time he has achieved this feat this season in an ESL match so he now has 14 to his credit, just two behind Chris Lewis. These figures will be corrected for the next edition of the League Bulletin.
