As tensions rose at Stag Meadow on Saturday, the players of Gosport Borough threatened to report Keith Scott to the FA for entering their changing room.

 

But the Windsor & Eton FC manager has defended his actions saying the whole situation has been blown out of proportion in the Non League Today newpaper, especially concerning the involvement of his wife and the allegation Scott took a swing at a Gosport player.

 

As the match paused for half-time at 0-0, Scott asked the referee to consider an abandonment as the pitch froze over. This was initially agreed to by Gosport boss Alex Pike, who also believed the surface was dangerous.

 

The ref took the decision, but Pike changed his mind and accused Scott of trying to get the game abandoned.
