Pritchard To Flackwell

Good luck to both James and Lee with their respective futures, and thanks for all the effort on the pitch and the chats off the pitch whilst you were at Slough.

It will be interesting to see how Sweets uses existing blood and any new signings for our midfield, especially against a competitive side like Cinderford.

As for captain, I agree with Chris, I think Luke with Ricky maybe as VC.

Good luck to Ridds and Pritch they have both been a credit to Slough and I'm sure will be a success at their new clubs.

That said I think we will still continue to progress without them. Fermie is doing a fine job and we've Laurence back to fitness who I reckon can score goals from the midfield.

It's not Sweetman's fault that Pritchard has gone, he's signed us good players before and I'm sure he will do it again.

Onwards and upwards will be the way.

Sorry, meant to say thanks to Riddell and Durrant for their time at the club too. Working as a financial journalist I can completely understand Durrant's predicament and Riddell deserves recognition for sticking by the club when few would and for showing pride in the shirt at all times.

To say it's embarassing is a bit ridiculous. Riddell's move has been coming for weeks, presumably he's gone to Hillingdon. Durrant hasn't been seen for ages and was either injured or unfit. Both were fringe players.

Pritchard obviously is a bit of a surprise and whilst we will miss the creativity in midfield, for me he went missing sometimes and he and Fermie were 'found out' against more athletic, pacy midfield players. He did have some great games for us but maybe once every three or four, and recently he's not played as well. It's still a loss though and he'll need to be replaced - I would be tempted to move Sonny in there to see how he does.

Best of luck to Pritch and hopefully his managerial career gets off the ground. Also thanks to Lee Riddell - even if he wasn't playing well, his committment was never in doubt.
