What's the longest number of seasons anyone has played as one club. What happens to the palyers when they all get too old. Do they become computer generated.

I've seen someone reach 2040/41 and yes all the players become regens of former players but with different names

The longest I've played a game is from 2001/02 to 2015/16 having managed at four different Clubs: Canvey Island, Albinoleffe, Hereford and Everton, (in that order) - I accidently deleted the game while I was deleting some of my older CM saved games! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif" alt="" />

I'm in season 2019/20 and I'm at Notts County, previously at Millwall, Peterborough, West Ham, Newcastle, Cardiff (for a day), Leek Town and now Notts County.

 

Won 7 trophies in one season with Millwall

Took Leek from Confrence to Div 2

Took Petrerbrough and West Ham up from Div 3 in the same season!

2030/31 at Billericay on 2000/01 took them all the way to the premiership (over 2 spells) and won the FA cup before my old PC got a virsus and the hard drive was wiped

I took 01/02 to 2017 and thought that was pretty impressive - you lot put me to shame...!!

 

Do you know about nicnaming players that become regens?

 

If a player is getting a little older and is about to retire... as long as they don't become non-playing staff, if you assign them a nickname they then become regens with the same nickname... (their real name obviously changes....) Doesn't always get yo ua brilliant player, but it does do quite a lot... and it will allow you to sign most of them on a freebie when they first start out... beef up your reserves with youthful talent and reap the benfits as they grow into the Kewells, Beckhams and Furlongs of the future!

I was aberdeen From 00/01 to. Not as many as you lot but I had an eventful time!!

 

00/01: bottom half of Scottish Premier

01/02: relegated

02/03: won the challenge cup

03/04: won the challenge cup and got promoted

04/05: qualified for the Champions cup

05/06: won the champions cup

07/08: won the champions cup, european super cup, and the world club cup.

 

Great Time, but for some reason I never won the league, league cup or FA cup!!

I got up to 2012-13 with West Ham (I'm still going) and I've made them the best team in England by far. I won the Champions League for the first time last season. Just one thing I want to ask you guys who've been into the Premiership with non-league clubs - what kind of crowds do you get, how big do the stadia of non-league sides get, and indeed is it possible for new stadia to be built? Also in CM4 what's all this about statues being built for you outside the ground?

wow i wanted a challenge. and got charlton to win fa cup league cup. and came top of league and next season won champions league

Yeah I was Gravesend, and got to 2021/2022 season, had a statue built and a stand named after me after I redeveloped Stonebridge Road, it needed it after seeing it in 01/02 season following Bedford, so I did em a favour

I got Forest Green into the Premier in about six seasons. Proudest moment was doing the double over Man U in my first season, closely followed by winning the League Cup and getting them into Europe.

 

As for the capacity, it depends on what team you have. Different teams will have different settings at to maximum crowds and ground sizes and things I think. I know I had 14000 at FGR, but was always looking at expanding that, it was always a case of finding the money <img src="/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
