Dont assume GP.

My ambitions and everyone elses who is connected with Cove F.C are as high as any other club in the CCL.

Money availability, time, squad, and most importantly, timing are key factors in a clubs promotion decisions.

Take a look at Wallingfords history in the league.

Won it at least once and finished high enough plenty of times (ie top 2/3)to be considered for promotion but never went up!! They are now languishing down in step 7 in the North Berkshire Div 1. All cos even though they had a great team they never had the funds and ground grading to go up. Hence why all the players got fed up and took off.

Cove will be ready next year to mount an attack on the CCL premier division and promotion. If we still win it this year but obviously dont go up then at least the team will have the experience to do it again next year. If we dont win it then we still have the

Your point is valid GP. I do agree about the belief etc etc.

Fortunately we have a very young squad who have plenty of time to win the league with Cove and move up.

The players have great belief in what is trying to be achieved down at Cove. A good squad has been assembled and we are 1 season from being ready for a serious push for promotion. The team we have now is 50% better than what we had in the 1st 4 weeks of the season. I'm sure this time next year we will have an even better squad plus the ground ready and the fee paid.

As to what work is needed i would only be taking an educated guess.

* A turnstile (not difficult to get hold of i'm sure)

* 50 more seats

* Advertising boards or similiar construction to stop the ball from passing the perimiter barrier.
