I think we could have had a bit more notice, Canvey Youth have their monthly meeting at the same time Thursday and I and others have to attend this.

Would it not be wise for the club to maybe produce a monthly calendar or plan these kind of 'big' events ahead to be able to give enough notice...? 4 days isn't really enough time for some people!

Oh, and what about people that don't have internet access? We should try and get a way of informing them... Maybe by putting up events like this on a notice board in the clubhouse?

Maybe contact the Evening Echo and get them to put something about the meeting in the paper.

This is much better as it can be announced on Saturday during/after the game so the majority of supporters will know and can choose whether they attend or not. Notices can be put in the clubhouse and other areas of the ground too.

Also, not a bad shout by Yellow, TGE may be able to have a word with the relevant people in the ECHO.

Both the Echo and Southend Radio will be made aware of the meeting so that it can be advertised via the local media.
