Canvey,Sutton ,Hornchurch-not the easiest run of fixtures >

How many points will we get ?

I reckon we will get one draw and thus one point from somewhere.

Two points would be just about par.

Three points good ,and anything more really realy good.

No doubt-others will post-'if we play like we did on saturday we will be ok'.

But thats the point-we don't play like that week in and week out, so it won't happen imo;but as ever-i hope to be so very wrong.

I'd be delighted for us to play terrible and just fluke a couple of wins

I simply remain realistic and put things as i see them.

I can be very optimistic but imo you need reasons to be optimistic,as opposed to being optimistic for the sake of it with blind faith .

The purse must be nearly empty, but if for example, we could secure trhe services `of another quality midfield player-that would be a rreason for me to be more opimistic

That given, some may feel that sugggesting we will get one point is actually being optimistic:

and like most-simply avoiding relegation this season is all i ever wanted and expect;so if we can achieve 3 points from these 3 games, that would keep us in the pack at least as opposed to being cast adrift

We have to start picking up points sooner rather than later; it's no good saying "Well, it's a tough game...we don't expect anything from it". Personally, I think four points is a bare minimum just to keep us in the 'hunt'. But, sadly, I think we'll probably only get one.

All season people have been saying that we will not get relgated and that the team is good enough to avoid it. However we are now over half way through the season and second from bottom of the league. It is no good saying that "we didn't deserve to lose" and, as said earlier, "if we play like that next week we will win", because the facts speak for themselves and we are not winning. The worrying fact is that we have been unable to get more than two positive results in a row, and we need to break that sequence to stay up. It must be very frustrating for TY as you can see the promise is there but it is not being reflected in the results. Time and time again we have conceded sloppy goals and it was another sloppy first goal on Saturday that cost us, apart from poor finishing at the other end. I thought again for the first 20 mins Sat we played the ball around superbly and outclassed Dover, but in the end the game is over 90 plus minutes not 20. I really don't know what the answer is, but hope TY and Nev find it very soon.

I'm going for four points....a win, a draw and a loss - no idea against which team though. All three are beatable, so I think it'll be close, and as they all play reasonable football, we should raise our game and do well. Also, they're all away, where our record is so much better. Yet again this season I don't think there's that much to choose between most of the teams.
