As far as I recall, Enfield scorers were Nicky Glover and a 30-yard own goal by John Ward. Hayes' scorer was, I think, Bobby Wiles.

Wow! Must have been some classic that!

It was! Long through ball, Ward struggling to keep ahead of Nicky Glover (who, take it from me, was a bit rapid), got a bit too much elevation on his back pass (about 30 feet too much!). Result was a perfect lob. Oh how we tittered.
