Thanks guys! These little messages cheered me up. Wife was rushed to Queens on Friday and I have been living there since then - so Birthday has been a bit of a bummer. Still, Anne is ok (which is the main thing). People knock that place but they have been marvellous. Apologies if the website doesn't get updated as quickly as usual but should be back to normal in a week or so.

 

Bet I was the only one who was pleased the game was postponed yesterday - as I would have missed it if it had been played.

Cheers Unc, We were both struck down by the dreaded lurgi which has hit most people recently but it hit Anne harder than me and she developed a chest infection which spread to the lungs. I was very worried last Friday (and so was the doctor as he called an ambulance immediately) but there has been a vast improvement in the last two days and we should see her home this week.

people under estimate the national health service, in most cases they get it right and at Queens, they normally do, you only hear the moans about a hospital, never the good they do, btw Sid, wish your wife better.
