Weird!

Playing CM3 as Canvey in the Conference today I signed a player on a 4 week trial called Paul Norman.

He plays right sided midfield, has excellent dribbling and pace and I thought could be a useful signing.

 

After a couple of days I asked my coaches what they thought about him and ALL of them came back to me with this reply

 

".....reckons Paul Norman is an alien scout attempting to determine if the earth is ripe for invasion, the FBI have been informed."

 

Has anybody ever had this comment before from one of their coaches? Have I signed an absolute muppet or is this player on another planet? Or maybe I've signed an operative from Al Quedia!!

 

Just what is this all about!! The famed Champ Manager humour?

 

Any ideas?

So what does that mean then?

In the programming of the whole game. I can't remember where exactly, but I remember that typing [****!!****] in a certain place made funny things come up, like the above. Players also got stupid injuries, and were banned for stupid things etc, all in good humour, obviously. However, you had to type this in, and you (YA2003) didn't type it anywhere. Don't worry about it too much.
