Not a nice thing to say Coffin Ender...

But as to your other comment re Dover facing bankrupcy when they go up. I wonder how true that is? We all hear how much it costs at the next level - Maybe a Dovorian can enlighten us as to how they will be able to compete? Is Mr Parmenter wealthy enough to sustain the momentum?

Well just back from the game, having left before the whistle for the first timer ever, not because of the performance of the team but because of the disgusting behaviour of the Dover supporters if you can call them that. Animals is probably more appropriate. I have never heard such language in all of my life, they were drinking behind the goal, smashing their glass bottles and p***ing up the stand, what lovely people not. We were forced down the other end in the first half for fear of my 9 year old nephew being hurt and putting him off football for life. The second half wasn't much better and we were again forced from the place that we stand at week in week out to stand by the exit, due to the language & pushing that was going on. I appreciate bad language happens at football matches but some of the words there werre using were not acceptable. I would like to say thank you for the one steward that did try & have a go.

As far as the football goes, I though we played much better then at Ramsgate and Harwood, Wilson & Stubbs had a good game but to name a few. We played football and if we could have just got one goal we could of gone on from there.

Thank god we probably won't have to play them next season.

Up the Gate!!

The club is now run by a first class board and will be in good shape financially if we go up, lessons have been learnt from the past and we will not bankrupt ourselves in the quest for success.

Much better than last week, good game of football by two sides wanting to keep it on the ground, no disgrace in defeat we played well with spirit and aggression. Dover are a very good side no doubt, but we competed for 90 mins, nothing wrong with that, and although we lost lots of positives, we are getting better I am certain and again Harwood, different class, up the gate !

Agree totally. Actually enjoyed today in spite of the result. We didn't get the run of the ball on a few occasions, but to be fair, the big difference was two chances missed in the first half, and two they cleared off the line. But that's what makes for a championship winning side. No disgrace in losing 2-0 this week, particularly bearing in mind the side we lost to looked reasonably classy...unlike the opposition last week - why do we play down to poor sides and up to the good ones?! Hate to say it, but Ollie Shulz played a blinder today. Harwood looked good again for us, though.

A good battling performance today from all in blue shirts , what suprised me was how worried they looked when we did put presure on them . Oh how the season would be so differant if we played like that every game . Got to agree with above though Ollie played a blinder again , 1 or 2 slip ups at the end for him but worth his money with the title winners im affraid . Does anyone know the lad was in the Crewe Alexander coat was , he could`nt have been there for any of the Dover squad so who have they come to pinch from us . Up the Gate .

That's the nature of the beast ... we were asking exactly the same question on the way back from Tonbridge today. How could we play pretty average last week and still win and then play so much better today and only get a point.

Thoroughly enjoyed todays game. Our team played really well but unfortunately Olie Schultz played better. I've seen him play a few times now and he's simply too good to be playing Ryman football. Surley with Hessenthaler's connections Dover could sell him and make a very healthy profit.

Although I personally didn't encounter any of the unacceptable behaviour myself, I did speak to Archie Cooper and his wife after the game, and they too were appalled by the language and behaviour of a drunken element of the Dover (supporters?), urinating in the stand being just one of the more offensive items.

I would just like to come to the defence of the majority of true supporters of Dover, who contributed to the bucket collection at the turnstiles, offering their best wishes in our fight for survival and also purchased a substantial number of Blues News magazines, which in turn adds to the monetary support MISA can give to the club.

So to the decent majority of Dover fans - Thank you very much for your support.

I was quite impressed with the lads today, and thought they battled hard throughout. Certainly they looked on top for the first 20 minutes or so. We seem to lack the killer finish though. We created plenty of chances, capitalised on none, Dover took theirs. That separated us from them. Get that sorted out and we look a reasonable side.

I like Oakham, first time I have seen him play.
