The Golf Thread

Apart from a bitter wind during the football days dont get much better than this, a sunny & fresh winters morning started off with a hearty & healthy brekie in the cafe, then with The Hat back from his secret golf training camp much was expected on the golf course & he didnt disapoint, coming home a solid 3rd (where he had been since the first hole) a long way behind the winner!

Then onto football where a hard earned 3 points were gained.

 

Now this is what Saturdays are made for!

Noted that not one of you could 'shoot my age'...whereas I have no trouble doing so...turned 56 on the 31st and have had no trouble carding 56's for years!

Belated birthday wishes Wagga, my 45 yesterday will match my age in 9 days time, a 6 on the first & ninth spoiled a decent card.

Mind you The Hat would find it hard to reach his age playing 9 holes!!!

I actually thought I was going to surpass my age with a golfing score, especially carding 17 shots in two holes!!!! However, a brilliant recovery saw me come home in 18 shots for the last FOUR holes.

Once again, reduced my previous score by another 3 and it will only take another few Saturdays before I go round in 18!!!
