If any teams have got any sense they will at least leave it for the ref to call these matches off. Its not as if its snowing. The sun is out, the birds are singing.

 

I can understand pitches that have trees surrounding the ground like Colliers Wood etc.

If it's possible to get a pitch inspection done early, it makes sense.

 

Money is tight enough already without paying out for fuel for a wasted journey.

 

P'raps the home sides should pay the away sides travelling expenses if the ref calls it off at the last moment ! Now That should cause some controversy !

Had a glance at Meadowbank and it's the main stand side where the frost lingers. Not sure if it would clear by 3pm, but was quite a heavy frost last night so ground is probably bone hard.

Anyway, Bognor must be in a more temperate zone so i'm off to the seaside shortly

But those are the rules GP you can't start calling games off becuase of that,I've just listened to the weather forecast and the temperature will get up to +4c this afternoon its up to the match officials to call matches off not the clubs.
