You're spot on Geggy.

Looked a decent crowd today, heartening to see it.

Maybe more people will turn to clubs like ours as the recession bites?

It would be no bad thing if the big clubs had a timely reality check.

It is becoming harder to justify spending a hundred quid on a day out at a premiership ground.

I've watched plenty of premiership games, but most of my favourite memories are of watching Windsor (mostly when we were embroilled in some relegation battle, and it usually ended badly)!!

But it makes the football we're watching now all the more enjoyable.

We often get praise, but it can be well hidden. Slough have been quick to praise the way we played and not only the six we put past them.Other teams have given praise but lets be fair, it is going to be a pretty own club orientated review. but nice to hear the credit when wee are playing well.

A friend of mine who is a Stoke season ticket holder is becoming increasingly annoyed with paying to visit premiership grounds for away games as he gets ripped off for the price of a ticket, the price of a pint, the price of anything to eat and the cost of travelling tops it all off. After suffering a humiliating defeat at Hartlepool he told me he is giving up on the away games. As he lives in London I invited him along to Stag Meadow but he is yet to commit...

It really baffles me how some people are prepared to pay a massive percentage more for a match ticket yet they get the same 90 minutes we in the lower leagues get. Lets be honest in the non league there is less diving and the games are not ruined by pre-Madonna millionaires!

Well, I totally agree with you Hovis. You get a better more friendly atmosphere at non league, you can stand wherever you like(none of this restricted view nonsense) chat to different people in the ground, not just the two either side of you and it is decidedly cheaper and easier to get to. Plus the football is of a decent standard and enjoyable end to end stuff, normally. You can also bring young children and everyone respects them and doesn't start effing and blinding right next to them(again, normally!!)Wouldn't go to premier matches over Windsor if you gave me a season ticket
