There is a pitch inspection planned for the New Years Day game between Slough & Beaconsfield. I have asked the referee to come and look at the pitch as it may well be frozen and dangerous come kick off time.

 

The inspection is scheduled for noon and I will post the outcome here as soon as the decision has been made.

I'm reasonably optimistic that the match will be on. The temperature in Slough is currently 2.4 C, and it was a frostless night.

 

Beaconsfield is usually a bit cooler than Slough, but hopefully not enough to make a difference.
