What do you have instore for 2009?

Recommended Posts

Just wondering what everyones hopes and dreams are for 2009?

Football wise... i hope we win the Essex Senior Cup and maybe the League Cup and finish top 6 in the league.

Other than that, i hope to carry on doing well at work, and hope that i continue to have one.

In the summer i would hopefully like to travel to a few places.

Already booked to go to Dublin so maybe a visit to East Europe would be nice!

To all Urchins, good luck and enjoy 2009 smile

Every year, I aim to visit at least one new country so hopefully will be doing that later in the year. Going to Portugal in February to see Oasis.

Things are good at work at the moment so hopefully that will continue.

As far as footie goes, would be happy with a top 10 finish for Canvey. Play offs are probably a bit too much to ask for. Would be nice to see attendances improve as well.

UM - I am posting it here as you do not seem to be using the bird forum any more - if you go down to two tree, check out the cockle sheds just around high tide - a couple of days ago there were masses of dunlin and knot just off from the road that leads down to Old Leigh.

Also you can get large swarms of knot as you look from the slipway towards the power station - they are more spectacular than starlings.
