Nice writeup of the Bracknell game from Mal on the forum, agrees with what a mate implied that the second half was pretty dour. But a win's a win(dsor) so we're a point off top with a game in hand... I think we'd have settled for that at the start of the season (especially by the end of August, or even mid-September!).

 

Can't make Uxbridge, and anyway I definitely bring us bad luck there, so Happy New Year and I'll see you all for the Gosport visit.

I completely agree that the second half was rather poor. But I think (apart from one striker) the Bracknell team was so poor that Windsor relaxed too much and we brought ourselves down to their level. As a result the Bracknell side looked as though they could match us as a team!

 

Other poor parts to the game was the clear foul to Ben Porter in the area which the Ref dismissed in favour of a goal kick. The second being the clear back pass which Max Aneke laughed about and the Ref avoided our calls for a nice set piece.

 

Good points in the game for me was Joe Chandiram... An excelent game he had I would say. He was fast, skilled, and certainly got stuck in. It was great to see him get himself on the score sheet! Also Willow... what a player!

 

Uxbridge (away) next and I must say the New Years day game is going to be tough I think. They are on a good run and it's at their ground! Two days later Gosport at home... the last time we played Gosport I'm, not sure what happend! Oh yes, now I remember I was [****!!****] steaming! So drunk I took their keepers drink! My first away game and it was awesome!

Cannot comment on the game as i only made it for the last 15 mins.

 

But what a fantastic start to the season and in my view we have never really played at 100% apart from the Slough game which was just stunning football and THE highlight of my time watching windsor!!

 

This next month is huge but we CAN do it! Gosport away was a great day out and i'd forgotten about you being a theif! You coppers are ALL bent!!!

 

Uxbridge will be tough but they are not as good as they were...and there will be no Alison Chapman!!

 

Cannot wait for Truro which fingers crossed i will be able to drink again for!!
