i am not surprised mullins lost it and a crack back, the abuse that was being directed at some of the margate players was daft.I know people get upset when players play crap it all part of football but we are supposed to be supporting the margate players not destroying whats left of any confidence they once had with moronic verbal abuse. i heard Mullins say your not helping after some chanting just after a margate player went down injured. We were [****!!****] no doubt there but all we can do is get behind the players and SUPPORT them through the rest of the season and hope we can at least stay in this division and beat ramsgate at hartsdown.

The difference between the 2 clubs finances is people will support a club finacially who don't rob their supporters and their chairman is relistic with his ambition and not a dreamer.

Nice talk Tony.I think you think you have a given right to talk down to people. Very nice man aren't you?
Now then go back & read my post again.Did I say the figures were inflated on purpose. No, I didn't.
I said that Southwood is deceptive & I wasn't inferring anything other than that.Of course everyone knows whatever the attendance figure tax has to be paid. You are not on your own in knowing that.
Now then,I'm sorry you can't take it that YOUR club Ramsgate FC might have problems soon.I know for a fact that wages for certain player/s have been offered at a reduced rate. 50% cut to be precise. That to me tells me all is not as good as it once was. Dosen't it you!
There's no shame matey. A lot of clubs are feeling the pinch. Why can't your team be feeling it too.
Oops! was this something you weren't aware of. Oh dear!

Not slagging the oppo or even our own players but have to say Mullings has a very annoying arrogance issue. The problem with this is you have to live it! time after time after time. He cannot. The crowd at Dartford wound him up. He is easy bate. Maurice Munden was not liked by crowds and was arrogant but boy could he live it. No one wound him up.

Pat is not the best goalie in Ryman Prem by far but i bet he thinks he is.

Not his fault because we lost. As TY said we did not turn up. He said he told the lads how R would play two men swarming around you all the time annd the long ball out to the wings. He said they could not have listened. End of story.

You won't be so smug when the tables are turned & when it does you will be looking for OUR help in return(perhaps). Its people like you that have others wanting to abstain from that.

I personally will be helping out with a small donation in return for your small but gratefully accepted donation when the time comes though its highly possible you're problems won't be on the same scale as ours. Good luck!

We already know what you will be going through.

I totally agree with Geoff. Pat has a attitude problem & it's about time that he learnt he isn't the dog [****!!****]. In all the time that he has been at Margate I have not once seen him try to interact with the supporters & I think that today was just the last straw for some.

I also agree that it does not help to shout abuse at the players and we need to remember that they are a very young team and this can be very damaging. Felt we should of stuck with the team today when they went 1 down, remembering Ramshite were 2 up last week & then lost. Today it just was not meant to be & I for one want to put it behind us & look forward to playing Dover.

Just have to mention that Harwood played well today and was really the only person worth mentioning.

Another disappointed day on the Blue side of Thanet, but the fight goes on!!

As I mentioned on another thread, I thought it was a dreadful game, and Ramsgate were just less awful than us. We didn't show anything. I can take a loss, I can even take a heavy loss, but a loss without any commitment or interest is just unacceptable. And that is exactly how it is: some of those players just looked disinterested today. If we keep playing like that, relegation is a certainty.

As others have said, Harwood had a good game, and Young did OK. All the others on that pitch need to have a good look at themselves, because they were all dire today.

As for Mullin, well he's just a tw*t. Although suggestions that he said he could hear the Ramsgate fans all game are completely fabricated, to have a go at his own fans is just pathetic. Let's be honest, Pat, you're hardly a world-beater. Oh, and when you've got a minute, mate, practise your kicking will you? It was like watching a 4-year-old girl kick the ball at times!

Great thread Margate SUPPORTERS! I really can't let this go without a reply. In my experience, Pat Mullin has shown himself to be a great team player and very approachable and does not deserve the criticism he's getting here. Does anyone stop to think he might actually read this? Are our players so highly paid that they will put up with abuse regardless, or do we have such a deep squad that we can afford to drive them away?

Pat showed up at every(/most) home game whilst his leg was in plaster and was more than happy to chat to supporters in the bar or on the terraces - I can think of several who wouldn't bother turning up let alone be as approachable. I have never found him to be arrogant, he just deeply wanted to recover from his injury and have the chance to win his place back in the team.

Come on guys, we're in a pretty bad position here - regardless of what may be going on away from the pitch. We need to get behind the team and do what we can to help the players who wear the Margate shirt to do their best for the team we support. I'm as pissed off as everybody else that we've lost to #@$%*^! and spent last night wondering why I bother but I shall be at HDP next Saturday with fresh hope!

Excellent response, tho the knee jerk posts were justifiable to a degree.

Bring on Dover!!!!!!!!!!!

They were two great strikes - and I won't deny that we aren't a great team ourselves at the moment and didn't have much else by way of creativity - but Mullins did seem to be slow to react. Not sure he could have saved them but seemed to make no real effort. A bit overweight?

But none of your team impressed apart from the two centre halves who can be happy with their performances.

I didn`t have a go at the players at the ground but i said how i felt on here so i may as well have shouted at them at the ground today . I have been thinking about the game and the players and the fans and what my assumption is , is you may agree with me or you may not but i blame the whole behind the scene things that have been going on for the past 5YRS . This has totally devistated and ripped the guts out of the squad the surporters anyone that has anything to do with the club is rock bottom with there emotions . If this was a marriage it would have been over along time ago . The emotions that are being shown are not about what happened yesterday but what is going on with the club that we all follow and love and it seems that we are all being affected by the long process which has still not come to anything . 5yrs ago it was Burton or Doncaster next yr it could be nothing or Cray .

THE CLUB WILL FINISH ITSELF BEFORE THE TAX MAN WILL IF IT CONTINUES ANY LONGER .

Maybe Saturday should be the new start for the club this meaning all to do with MFC should at least all join togther for 2hrs on Saturday afternoon and show that we can all be one and show Parmenter and Dover we can still be a force and show him what MFC are . Up the Gate .

IM just one gutted fan looking for a great day with the team i love to watch . Up the gate .

You are spot on Andy......I'm afraid something has to give pretty soon because how much longer can we lurch from one week to another not knowing if we're going to be around to play the next game?

But next Saturday..Probably the last chance to play Dover in a league game for another few years. I really hope that we can all join together as one to support the team we all love and show that by being vocal in support. IMO the very least we should see in return is 100% effort on the pitch.

Right you can F*** O** those who reckon the supporters did not get behind the players. Mullins can have no bloody complaints about the suport for the first 75 mins, the first half we matched if not outsung the ramsgate fans IMO, as we had the biggest choir we've had all season. It was in good voice and the derby atmosphere was fantastic. However the second half had the smaller loyal lot that sing every week, one of whom I am, and I dont care how much abuse we give to the team as a whole, no players were picked on indvidually. The song your not fit to wear the shirts, has a big f**king s on the end, so no it was not aimed at Mullins, who easily could have done something about the second goal, it took ages to go in ad he walked back toward it instead of going for it, like may I add the rams players would have, who seemed alive to the derby atmosphere and were throwing themselves into every ball and challenge. Margate were extremely poor yesterday but it was not untill Mullins turned on one fan who perhaps gave him some personal abuse and did the w*nker sign to all of us. That takes the michael, we had been watching cr*p football in a game I had personally been up for for a week or more, and we lost it. Like he lost it we lost it and a few harsh chants were directed his way.

Even so, the margate support was quality for the first 75mins if not longer, so no slagging us off. If you want to moan on a forum which lets face it was made to have the occassional slagging match, then feel free to do so, I know a lot of us want to get a few things off our chest about the performance. So feel free, if the players wish to read this site, they must take some of the comments with a pinch of salt, as we are all loyal fans who have witnessed so much [****!!****] over recent years with the club and so are entitled to go crazy on here when we've payed to see an abysmal turnout

from what i saw, Gregory went down with cramp, and someone shouted "How can you have cramp, you havent moved all day" or words to that affect, and thats when Mullin turned round. i didnt hear what he said, but i thought it was in defence of his team mates. thats when a a big angry fella in a blue hat shouted something directly at him and started squaring upto him...
