Yep, poor today.Didn't look like we were going to take this one at any point in the 90 minutes.A tame effort I would call it.

Unlike last week, too many players out of form. Only Liam Harwood & Dan Young get any credit today, for me.

Ramsgate? Fair play to them they got two good goals. The first a screamer & the second a good opportunist goal. However, apart from those goals they too were poor & its easy to see why BOTH clubs are in trouble.

The only good thing is that we kept them to two, mind you I doubt even they would have got any more to be honest. Therefore we stay above them.

Play like that again though & if the Rams don't get something from their next game v Dartford,we will surely drop a place after having played Dover next week.

A lot lot more required, not just next week v Dover but in every game.

Anyone know where Erskine & Healey were today?. We certainly missed Erskines tackling & work-rate in defence & Healeys midfield thinking & distribution.

One more thing. When are our players going to learn to shoot at goal rather than try walking it in all the time. Ramsgate proved that a swing of the leg can pay dividends sometimes.

For goodness sake chaps hit the f******* thing when in position to do so. We are too shot shy & too scared to have a go from anywhere, afraid that they might miss.It don''t matter.Better to have tried & failed than to fail without trying. That they did today.Anythings worth a "shot" (excuse the pun)!

Margate (90 minutes) 4 shots

Ramsgate (90 mins) 8 shots

Margate 1st 45 WITH the wind (1 shot)

Ramsgate 2nd 45 WITH the wind (4 shots)

I counted them.(It wasn't hard to keep up with)

Poor effort by both sets of players today, but they got the 3 points & that's what counts on the day

Harwood was the best player on the pitch by a mile. Shame he was our only player out there today who looked like they wanted to win a game of football. I saw precious little urgency or effort from anyone else. Agree with Joseba, hard to call between this and Horsham for the worst performance I've seen a Margate team put in.

Overall it was a terrible game. The only bits of quality were the two excellent finishes for the goals, although for the second how much time did our defenders want to give him? So bad it was hard to believe.

From where I was standing for the 1st he had no chance. From where I was sitting in the stand the 2nd also was unsaveable. It just dipped over his head & under the bar.I don't believe he was, on this occasion too far off his line either. The 2nd was a hopeful shot (but at least they tried it).

I would like to say though that Mullins needs to tone down his attitude a bit,to stop thinking that he is first choice keeper all the time without having a serious threat to his place & not to wander out from his goal as much as he does. One time soon he WILL get caught out & WILL deserve abuse because of it.Cant say he deserved it today though.

Cannot conmmet on the second goal, didnt get a great view of it, but Cookie your right, even we thought that was going over, it was a stunner, and your goalie did well to get anywhere near it, but it was a powerfull kick,he really had no chance, not a great game even for us,...good luck for rest of seson, see you guys in April at Hartsdown

Agree with most of the above, a very poor game and two poor sides, no passion from the blues, didnt seem like a derby, no decent tackles, no shots, Harwood head and shoulders above the rest, he is class. We have got to wake up pretty quickly or I fear the worse. As for the goals first a screamer second Mullins never moved, they were the only positives from either side, very disappointing, big crowd too, wonder how many will be at both teams next games?
