Its disappointing that we dont get the run of matches over the christmas period anymore. Traditionally attendances are higher in the holiday periods with local derbies played. The xmas period is now just the same over two weekends. All league clubs played today and then again on Sunday or Monday. They then play next Saturday. Surely it would be a good time to play the extra derby matches to gain much needed income. Usually its make or break for a lot of clubs.
