Predictions against Wabby?

Great result, sorry I missed it. Bad news is I should make the Leyton game and hopefully see the Town win a game at last. Another two wins on the trot and we can see us being a stones throw from a play off spot.

It's gonna take a great run of results, but hey thats achieveable.

The only concern I have is the 'we could have been down to 9 men by half time' comments. Our lads need to keep their excitement to creating goals and wins and not suspensions, and then we may chieve a top 5 spot.

Well done SM and SB and all those who froze their 3 piece suites this afternoon.

By the way PBT lost 1-4 this afternoon, good luck mike and Adam.

Great stuff, well done everyone.

Incidentally there are no such things as deliberate or accidental handball, there is just handball which is by definition deliberate. If the ball is handled accidentally it is not handball. Andy is as usual quite correct in saying that handball is not in itself a red (or yellow) card offence. Denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity is a sending off offence, so presumably this was not the case in this incident.

This weekend I saw Brighouse Town win 4-2 against Teversaland Huddrsfield Town win 2-0 v Scunthorpe. A good weekend for Towns!

Muppets lick their wounds

31st Dec Mercury "Waltham Abbey continued to stutter in their quest for the Ryman League, Division One North title.

After a series of good results, the abbotts have lost their last two matches, first to fellow title contenders East Thurrock United and then Enfield Town on Saturday who sit WAY DOWN in 14th place in the table.

Assistant Manager Tony Tillbrook .......believed they were unlucky to lose. "I think 0 - 0 would have been a fair result. The goals came near the end of the game and up until then I don't think there was anything between the two sides""

What game was he at? If anything Waltham Abbey looked the side in 14th place in the league! Wake up and smell the coffee Tony!
