Thats the spirit, I agree totally.

I can't make today and bearing in mind I have not seen our lot win for over a year (the last game I watched was PBT away) its probably a good omen for today.

Can someone please let us have the line up when they log in after the game at some point? Good luck should be a cracker. I notice the 'silly' Abbeynut has been keeping quiet to the build up.

An excellent performance, Rudi is the attacking midfielder we all love again.

The ref bottled the sending off of the Wabbey keeper when he handled outside the box & seem to brandish the yellow cards upon Wabbey players bawling.

It looked like we would end up with 9 a side before half time with some dodgy challenges from both sides, however in the 2nd half we came out & I think its fair to say played them off the park & the scoreline could have been much heavier.

Here's to another 3 points at Leyton next week, and with Remy & Crace to come back it all looks promising, indeed the enthusiasm from the terraces (me especially) was matched by the players with a cohesion not seen before in 2008!

C'mon Town!

Not too sure that it was a sending off as that would have required it to be denying a goal scoring opportunity and I don't think it was, handling outside the area is not a red card offence in it's self.

Def not a sending off offence for their keeper. I thought a scrappy first half with neither side creating any decent chances apart from when their really UGLY defender Jordon Bostock blocked a certain goal!! Hi Jordan!!! evil both sides created mor in te second and I don't think we played them off the park. However,we deserved the win and Luke and Deaino played superbly but WAbbey also created a couple of good chances that had Town fans looking worried. All in all a good result and a tough performance from the lads. Well done and good luck to WAbbey for the rest of the seaosn.

Feck off, lets hope they get relegated back to the level they should be, bloody mickey mouse club!! evil

As far as im concerned the keeper picked the ball up outside the area as he had no alternative to stop a shot at goal, hence deliberate handball outside the area so red card it is........even more so considering it was Wabbey!!

Stick to watching and not officiating son. Not a goal scoring opportunity; he just lost his bearings!

As for the game. Awful niggly first half which we then dominated by playing good football in the second. Now why did we not do that in the first half? I imagined us playing with 9 men by half time!

Oh right so if the keeper rushes out & picks it up in the centre circle he can claim he just lost his bearings! evil

The keeper picked it up as he knew the striker was going to reach the ball before the ball reached the penalty area, hence deliberate handball, hence red card! Not rocket science is it? duel

Bloody retired officials all stick together in the refs club! happybouncer

Great Result...looking forward to 2009.

Always interested in my heritage and my doctor thinks that I may be Irish...keeps calling me O'Bese.

Must be Northern Irish...closer to the Pole...and have evolved with generous covering. Are all the O'Bese's fat?

Anyway...have decide to fight the genes..weighed in at a svelte 110kg on Xmas Eve with target of 78kg by ???.

Anyone else up for the challenge...on a % basis (32 loss/110 = 34%)?

Beware..if successful could see a reverse tilting of the Earth and a change in the seasons...Summer Football for you blokes.
